Had the greatest surf time ever with curly.
He really know how to teach doesnt matter if youre a beginner or advanced.
He tell me every day the right time to surf with best conditions and at the best spots.
Best instructor in canggu i think.

Curly is an amazing surf instructor, he is very patient, especially with me as a brand new surfer. He has really good vibes and is always making everyone laugh and smile around him. He’s the best ever! I will definitely take surf lessons from him again the next time I come to Bali!

He points out all important mistakes to improve your skills, caring about your request with a 100% dedication ! He also always finding the best waves for your level. The video review is a good add-on to the lesson - helps to improve and understand where to focus.
What is the most important is that Curly is an amazing person! He is not only about surfing but about a happy life at its best!!

With us not having much experience surfing we didn’t expect to have so much fun. Curly and his friend were so happy, fun and passionate about surfing and wanted us to enjoy it as much as they did. Would 100% recommend.

Greatest surf lesson ever!!! If your looking for a fun, detailed, safe place to start surfing, look no further. Curly and his crew were just as you would expect a surf lesson to be. CARING, ENCOURAGING, AND TALENTED!
We didn't plan to surf with Curly but we are so happy that we met him on Batu Bolong Beach. His English is perfect, making communication very easy so that you know you are safe and you'll be laughing and smiling throughout your lessons, leaving the beach on such a high and buzzing with enjoyment.
We had 3 lessons with Curly and he is fantastic at explaining and progressing our abilities. We even changed our backpacking itinerary to come see him again to surf. He is an incredible surfer and maybe even better teacher. His knowledge of the waves is immense which ensured we were safe at all times and always looked after us if there was any difficulty with bigger waves or getting tired. We really believe Curly is the best teacher on the beach, or maybe ever!!
If you are looking for a teacher to have fun with, learn quickly, and that will put you, as the student, first over making money, Curly is the person for you.

Learning to surf was an absolute pleasure with Curly. Having only surfed a handful of times before Curly was super attentive and was so happy so share his wealth of knowledge with me during the 2 lessons we did together.
Curlys passion for surfing really reflects in how he treated me as a student and was genuinely keen to ensure I got exactly what I wanted from each lesson and what to insure I do in future to keep progressing with surfing.

The best surf of my life! And yup, it was the first one ;). Highly recommend, Curly even pushed and pulled me around once my arms stopped working. I felt super safe and it was a lotta fun!
