About this activity

If you have always dreamt of learning to dive, discover new sensations or just want to explore the diversity of the ocean, the Discover Scuba Diving course is your starting point towards underwater adventure. This diving initiation is made for you ! Please be reassured, the learning curve is progressive. After a short briefing, one of our instructors will take you to Coral Garden. You will perform a few excercises in shallow enough water to stand to aquire the confidence you need, then off you go to explore the site. It is truly a enormous aquarium! After returning to the dive center for a short rest and refuel, we will take you to the famous USAT Liberty shipwreck. Maximum depth 12 meters (40 feet).

Dive with my daughter

Very well organised journey, fully in confidence with Budy as my daughter was new in diving. Explanation, safety was excellent. We did 2 dives, one for training and one for discover the USIT wreck. Incredible souvenir!!

Nice & passionate instructors, awesome dive site & beautiful waters

I dived with dive instructor Julien who was super good in making me feel safe and secure as I had abit of a bad experience taking my open water course more than 8 years ago so I had thus pretty much gave up the idea of diving due to lack of confidence and phobia. He briefed me very clearly and got me to practise some basic skills again and constantly checked if I was ok in the water. He also pointed out to me lots of interesting life around the shipwreck that I would have otherwise missed and even though I only did 6 dives (in thailand and philippines) before, I never saw so much variety of life including my first ever turtle! And the beautiful blueness of the water without having to go more than 10m under is just extreme bonus. Tulamben is indeed a very nice dive site to explore especially for beginners like me. In fact, the whole experience revived in me the enthusiasm and curiosity I have for diving again and I want to thank instructor Julien for his dedicated and amazing guidance and confidence!

Overall amazing first diving experience due to great diving spot, awesome instructor & great Dive Concept Team!

This was an overall amazing experience. Expectations were quite high due to all the great reviews, but they were still met - if not even exceeded. Big thanks to our diving instructor Theo. It was my first dive ever, but he explained everything very well so that it felt almost natural quite soon. His perception of our level of comfort was spot on and therefore he gave us exactly so much freedom under water that it felt like we were diving individually, but still felt save. Lastly, the diving spot was amazing with the ship wreck and all the corals & divers types of fish. We highly recommend this spot, Theo & the whole Dive Concept Team! Thanks again!
