What To Expect
Bali Hai Cruises
As the sun goes down we set off on a relaxing cruise around Benoa Harbour in South Bali aboard our luxury catarmaran, Bali Hai II. As you take in the cool night air on the top deck you will be entertained by our live musical entertainers. This is followed by a delicious international buffet dinner before you can dance the night away at our disco or enjoy our live cabaret show.

Sunset cruise - A magical experience

The cruise had a really pleasant onboarding where you are welcomed with a garland using the local flowers. Once you onboard the cruise, the views are amazing. The moment it starts to sail and the evening ball of fire sets across the horizon, its one of the best views that can be experienced on the cruise. There are a lot to talk about , the food is a buffet with various veg and non veg dishes spread across the middle deck. It takes sometime for you to
realise the fact that life is good when you have live music, good food all the time. It is a worthwhile visit for people with their loved ones.

I was solo participating this sunset dinner, they helped me to take great pictures, they are great truly photographers! And I ‘m slow eater, one of staff bring the desert for me because it was almost empty plate. That was very kind of her. Thank you!

Bali Hai Cruises picked us up on time from our hotel and drove us to their office hall to check in where we were offered tea/coffee/water. Toilet facilities were available. After a brief wait were driven in our own mini bus to the boat to board.
The staff were wonderful especially Eri. They were friendly and fast with the drinks
and snacks. Were willing to take photos for us and engaged in humorous and informative conversation. The boat was super clean and roomy and traveled smoothly.
We were there to celebrate my partners 50th birthday. I was invited to select a table which i appreciated. The staff presented a lovely and good sized birthday cake for the birthday which was so good of them and appreciated very much.
The food was delicious and of a good variety. There was plenty to choose from. Included soups, cold meats, salads, prawns,hot chicken, fish and the deserts were divine. Drinks were well priced and with a great variety of cocktails, wines, beer, soft drinks, spirits. Loved the entrees that were passed around the deck as we were leaving the dock.
The band during dinner were very entertaining and played requests from guests. Their music was fantastic and very talented. They also played after dinner on the upper deck if you wanted something a bit quieter than what was happening in the dining room.
The after dinner entertainment got the guests up on their feet with a funny and hilarious drag show act, The performers were wonderful and so talented. They had us in stitches and singing and dancing along with their songs.
We took selfies with the performers and the band after the act to remember the night.
Before we knew it the 3 hours was over and the boat docked. A truly magical night. One which we were so glad we were a part of. All the staff from the bus driver, office staff, entertainers, crew and staff on the boat were truly wonderful and all contributed to us having the best dinner cruise ever. They certainly are a valued asset to the company. Many thanks.

Nature spoilt the Sunset

Unlike other reviews I understand Geography and that Bali Hai cannot manage the sunset.
The whole experience - hotel transfers, food, entertainment and staff - were extremely friendly and professional in how they presented the event.
I agree with other comments about the "cruise" we did sail around the bay so had few landscapes to photograph. Perhaps offering better/ closer views of the Garuda statue would be a benefit.
Still worth a visit for a pleasant different dining experience.

It was cloudy with a chilly breeze the night we went, consequently it was cold on the decks and we never saw the sunset. Inside it was worse with the aircon set far too low making it very uncomfortable. Canapes and dessert were lovely, but the main buffet wasn't great. The crew were excellent and we thoroughly enjoyed the band.
